Local School Wellness Policy
The Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 2004 mandates that all local educational agencies participating in a federal meal reimbursement program establish a Local School Wellness Policy.

There are numerous references to California Education Code and policies in the CDE Guidance for Local Wellness Policies (PDF) Attachment A (pages 21-23) lists a table of health related state and federal policies.
